Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Kempinski was a truly exceptional experience that surpassed all my expectations. Upon arrival, the picturesque shuttle boat ride to the private island immediately set the tone for a luxurious getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The spacious and beautifully designed rooms not only offered stunning views of the lagoon but also provided a level of comfort that was unparalleled, with supremely comfortable beds and a bathroom adorned with creamy marble and luxurious toiletries. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel was truly remarkable - from the outstanding concierge service provided by Michael and Antonio to the excellent breakfast served in the charming courtyard next to the beautifully restored chapel. What truly stood out for me was the impeccable service demonstrated by Claudia, the PR manager, who promptly addressed an issue with the air conditioning in our room, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The lush garden surroundings, complete with a stunning swimming pool overlooking the lagoon, provided a serene backdrop for relaxation, while the various seating areas both indoors and outdoors offered a perfect space to unwind with a drink. Despite minor suggestions for improvement such as a larger pool and eco-friendly alternatives for water bottles, Kempinski's overall excellence in hospitality and design truly sets it apart as a must-visit destination in Venice. An exquisite blend of modern luxury and Italian charm, Kempinski exceeded all my discerning criteria and left me thoroughly impressed.
